I contacted In-House plumbing for a second opinion after receiving two estimates from other companies for sewer leaks under my foundation. One of the companies tested and determined that there were two leaks located in the front and side of the house. The owner of In-house plumbing provided a written assessment based on the information provided to him pertaining to the leaks and work recommended by another leak detection company. He noted that if his company did the work, I did further research on In-House plumbing including checking the Better Business Bureau where the company has an A+ rating, and noting customer reviews from several sources. I decided to go with In-House plumbing after extensive research, the fact that I could get answers to my questions, and their leak location guarantee. I also felt comfortable with their estimate and that they would most probably stay within the budget I had for the work. In other words, that I would be treated fairly on the work and the costs for the repairs, even after I paid for a second leak detection test performed by their company. In-house did their initial test and found that there was no leak in one area indicated by a previous company, so only one hole would need to be drilled (substantial savings). They eventually found three leaks in one area. A final test, and inspection by the city, showed that all leaks had been repaired. I was pleased that I could have all leaks repaired with no inside drilling. I eventually saved thousands because there was no unnecessary drilling for leaks in a second area. The workers were courteous and respected my home and property. With some effort, I found the right company for the job.
