How do you inspect with
a video camera?
A video camera snake can be inserted into the sewer
lines in a variety of different ways in order to
visually inspect the sewer drain pipes. A sewer video
camera is a very useful tool in locating leak(s) with-in
an underground sewer drain pipe. However, it is very
important that in the overwhelming majority of the cases
the camera cannot be used as a primary leak location tool.
The reason for this is, what may look like a leak with a
camera, may not be leaking, and the opposite, so it is
very important that in leak locating, test balls with
air hoses attached to them be the primary leak location
tool, and the camera be used to help in the process of
putting the test balls in the proper place for testing.
