Convenient Scheduling: This is a specially scheduled convenient appointment time for between the hours of 5pm – 8pm Monday – Friday and 9am – 5pm on Saturday. Please review the following information for how this works:

1. Appointments must be pre scheduled through the office during regular business hours, which are 8:30am – 5pm Monday – Friday. If the job is not prescheduled between those hours, and you call for service after 5pm and/or on Saturday, your only option for service will be an after hours emergency service call, with those rates.
2. These appointments are scheduled on an as available basis only. Service is not guaranteed. We will work hard to accommodate every request, but cannot guarantee availability.
3. These calls will be performed by employees on overtime hours as available. When one of these jobs is scheduled, we will have to verify their availability before the job is scheduled.
4. Payment must be made upon completion of the job with no exceptions, if the person making the payment is not on the job, a credit card number will have to be secured in our office before dispatching our plumber to the job to perform the work.

24 Hour Service: You can call 214-227-5719 after hours and press 1 to be transferred to an on-call emergency plumber to help you when you need it most.

Serving Our Community: We give back to our community through our Helping Hands ministry and other recommended ministries.

Hourly vs. Flat Rate & Free Estimates: There are many companies in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex today that advertise free estimates & flat rate pricing, for the most part we are not one of those. In-House Plumbing Company does not give free estimates where diagnosis or investigation of a problem is necessary to determine the estimate of the job. We are very happy to come out and visually look at a job, to give an estimate for some work. Examples of possible free estimates are remodel work, under slab repairs where another plumber has located a leak and given a location and an estimate to repair the leak, and you want a second bid.

Now, let us make it clear, we do offer flat rates in some things, but only in the things that are very predictable, jobs that we do all day everyday, and have done for years, and on those jobs we know within a very small margin of error what it will cost us to perform. There are several things that we do, that we will not offer an hourly rate to do them, under any circumstances. And, there are some things that we do, that we work very hard not to offer a flat rate under any circumstances. With that in mind, we want to explain a little about the difference between hourly and flat rate, and how the process works, so that you can make an educated decision on which is best for you. Many times when you call a company offering free estimates and flat rate pricing, they offer to send a plumber to your house, to give you a free estimate, and that estimate will be a flat rate price to do the job you need done. Most of the time that plumber is a highly trained straight commission sales person. He is probably a plumber, but they have trained that plumber to be a sales person. He maybe salary plus commission, but you can bet he is paid a good commission. In other words, those guys in many cases do not make anything unless they sell something to you. This way of doing things is great if you have an honest person, however, do you believe most people today are honest. Unfortunately we don’t. Now, the way this works, is they come out, they look a the job, and then pull out what they call their flat rate book, and the book tells them what to charge for that job. They give you that price, if you want to do the job, they do the job. Now, lets think about this for a minute. If they give you a price out of a book, do you think that price is for the best case scenario of that job, or the worst case scenario. When any company gives you a flat rate, they are taking all of the risk. If it takes them longer to do the job and they have more cost in materials than they thought, they loose, but if it does not take them as long, and they do not have as much in parts, they win. Do you think that a company who wants to be in business long, will loose very many times. The answer is no. Now remember, built into that flat rate is a hefty bonus, called a commission for the plumber sales person who sold you the job, a hefty mark-up on the materials, a hefty profit for the company, and all of the overhead cost the company has. Because of this, it is our experience that the companies who advertise a flat rate, in many cases are much higher than those who offer an hourly rate. Now, lets take a minute to think about hourly. With hourly the company takes no risk, you the customer take all of the risk, but lets remember, that you also with hourly rates, reap any reward, in not paying as much. The risk for the customer with hourly, is all plumbers do work at a different pace. It may take one guy one hour, and another guy one and a half hours. Another risk is problems can arise. Some jobs go perfect, and others have problems. So if there is a problem, it will take longer, which will cost you a little more. Even with these potential risks, we have found that more often than not, the customer will benefit with hourly rates over flat rate. One way to think about this is, just as we said about the hourly risks, the flat rate companies know about these risks, so the slow plumber factor and the things that can go wrong are factored into every flat rate job, but on hourly only the jobs where those situations occur are charged more.

We want to say, that if you just absolutely want a flat rate on something that we normally quote an hourly rate on, please let us know, and we will see if there is any way we can provide you with a flat rate. We just want you to understand that the flat rate we give you will be based on the criteria we listed above. We also want you to understand that when a flat rate price is specifically requested, that is the price that will be used on the final bill. If after the job you determine that it would have been better to go with hourly, we will not discount the job to the hourly rate. We will charge the full flat rate price at that point no matter what, because remember we took the risk in that situation, and should be compensated for it.

This can be confusing, but it is our hope that we have given you enough information to make an informed decision about hourly rates vs. flat rates, and which one is best for you. Please feel free to contact our office to discuss your specific situation further, as we will be glad to work with you.

FREE Second (2nd) Opinion: We offer a free no obligation 2nd opinion on all under slab sewer and/or water leak test, detection and/or repair jobs. We will retest the system, re-locate the leaks, and/or give you another proposal for the work to be done. All we ask is for the opportunity to earn your business.
Price Match Guarantee: We will meet or beat any major competitors written bid to do work. To take advantage of this, just call our office and let us know what type of work you need, and that you are calling about our price match guarantee. We will first work to give you our estimate for the work. If our estimate is more than the estimate you received, we will do it for the competitors quoted price. The price we match must be in writing, and we must receive a copy of the estimate information from the other company for our records.
